TRUTH MATTERS
LAW AND ORDER
As a member of the House Committee on Crime Prevention and Public Safety, I have sponsored multiple bills to keep our neighborhoods safe and hold criminals accountable. In particular is HB1692 Valentines Law in honor of STLCO Police Detective Valentine (EOW 12/01/21), which makes aggravated fleeing from police a felony with required incarceration.
PROTECT THE 2ND AMENDMENT
As a Police Officer, I support the 2nd amendment without reservation. The fundamental right to defend your life, your family and your property is one of the principals of self government upon which our Country was founded. The right to bare arms enshrined this principal and the 2nd amendment codified it.
THE FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT TO LIFE
Civilizations can be rightly judged by their willingness to protect the most disadvantaged and vulnerable among them. Who is more vulnerable than an unborn baby? I sponsored HJR89 which would protect the unborn by providing each unique verifiable human life equal protection under the law regardless of age. Think of the generations of children that have been lost and what they may have accomplished.
PROTECT OUR ELECTIONS
As a member of the House Committee on Elections, I will continue to fight to protect the integrity of our elections and protect our state constitution from manipulation from out of state interests.
TAX REFORM
Politicians have become addicted to your tax dollars. I co-sponsored HJR45 to freeze property taxes for seniors and I will support measures to lower property and income taxes for all.
